Hosts Receive:
  • Campsite with renewable agreement (See amenities at sites)

  • Opportunity to expand knowledge of history, wildlife and environment of Delaware.

Host Requirements:
  • Volunteer Hosts must supply their own camping equipment.

  • Minimum Stay:
    2 months during shoulder seasons (Prior to June, after August)

    3 months in Prime Season (June - August).

  • Renewable agreements every 2 or 3 months under which Hosts work.

  • 24 volunteer hours per week, or as scheduled with Park, for each member at campsite.

  • Background and Driving Record checks performed for all Hosts.

  • Signed Application forms and Agreements must be on-hand prior to beginning duties.

  • Hosts must adhere to Delaware State Park Rules and Regulations.
