Visitors wanting to paddle the James Branch Water Trail may put in at the Records Pond Boat Ramp and paddle upstream approximately 5 miles to Hitch Pond road. See map.

Are you nervous about paddling for the first time? Don't have a kayak or canoe? Perhaps you just want to paddle with a group. Join our state park staff on a guided canoe or kayak trip! Full Moon Kayak Trip at Killens Pond State Park

Join us for a paddle by the light of the Full Moon! We will meet at the Nature Center and then head to the boats. All experience levels welcome. Please bring a headlamp or borrow one of ours. Paddle lasts about 1.5 hours. $10 per paddler
