Surf Fishing at Delaware Seashore State Park
Fishing is a very popular year-round pastime at Delaware Seashore. In addition to surf fishing on the ocean beaches, anglers may try their luck along the banks of the Indian River Inlet. A special access pier at the Inlet allows the elderly and people with disabilities to get close to the fishing action.
Permits are available for purchase year-round at the Indian River Life-Saving Station, from May 1 through Labor Day weekend at the Indian River Marina, and online.
