ATTENTION: A portion of the campground has been closed to allow the much anticipated completion of 2 brand new bath and shower buildings. We are now in the final phases of construction. Cape Henlopen Campground will be fully opened and all campsites are expected to be available for reservations prior to Memorial Day Weekend.
NOTICE: The Cape Henlopen Fishing Pier is closed to the public until further notice. The all-wooden pier built during World War II has been closed due to its deteriorating pilings. Delaware State Parks is actively working towards repairs to allow for public access.
RV and Tent Camping
If camping at the beach is your idea of a perfect vacation, Cape Henlopen is the spot for you! Pine-covered dunes are the setting for over 150 sites, most with a water hookup. Camping is available from March 1 through November 30.
