Fee Collector: Collects Park User Fees, provides information pertaining to Park use, points of interest and rules and regulations; operates portable radio; maintains daily attendance records and cash collection receipts. Lifeguard/Beach Patrol: Patrols an ocean beach, pool or pond to maintain public relations and order. Prevents accidents or drownings; rescues swimmers in distress; administers CPR and first-aid when necessary; enforces Park Rules and Regulations pertaining to water safety activities; inspects conditions of all rescue equipment including buoys, floats, ropes, medical supplies and other safety equipment. The job may include minor maintenance and custodial duties. Lifeguard Captain: Supervises and prepares work schedules for a group of Lifeguards. Engages in protecting swimmers and maintaining public relations and order in a swimming area; prevents accidents or drownings; rescues swimmers in distress, administers CPR and first-aid when necessary; enforces Park rules and Regulations pertaining to water safety activities; inspects condition of all rescue equipment including buoys, floats, ropes, medical supplies and other safety equipment. Park Tech: Drives and operates cars, pick-up trucks, tractor-mower, four wheel drive, air compressor, portable generator and other equipment; participates in varied unskilled maintenance, repair, construction and other activities which require use of hand tools, powered tools, shovels, post-hole diggers; reports the need for major repairs to Supervisor; keeps daily time card; performs janitorial work in bathhouses and offices; transports and unloads trash containers from campgrounds and pavilions. Park Patrol Officer: Responsible for security and public safety. Meets the public in a polite and courteous manner; promotes recreation, safety and proper use of Division facilities; inspects equipment, grounds and facilities for unsafe conditions; regulates traffic, handles complaints from the public and does minor investigative work; may have limited arrest authority; prepares and submits such enforcement reports and such other reports that may be required by the Division, provides support for full time enforcement staff, must keep the Supervisor informed of the activities or problems which may arise. Must be 18 years of age. Rental Attendant: Rents boating equipment; collects rental fees; inspects condition of equipment to be rented for safety and preventive maintenance, performs minor repair to equipment; maintains immediate work area in orderly condition; performs minor maintenance duties.

Secretary: Types letters, memoranda, reports, lists and other materials; answers telephone giving routine information; receives and routinely directs Park visitors; opens and sorts mail, files material; checks arithmetic accuracy of simple computations; issues annual park user permits and tickets; operates typewriter, computer, adding machine and portable radio. Program Assistant: Responsible for limited implementation of EXISTING park programs. Program assistants will lead/assist in small group or public environmental education/interpretive or recreational programming. May include guide trail/bird walks, day camp assistance, or nature center attendants. Program Leader: Responsible for the daily implementation of current park environmental education/interpretive and recreational programming. Programs may include guided trail walks, living history presentations, boat/canoe programs, workshops and outreach programs for the general public and organized groups. Program leader is responsible for all aspects of daily programs, including preparation, implementation, and clean-up. Must be able to manage group of participants on a daily basis without direct supervision. Program Specialist: Responsible for the DEVELOPMENT, implementation, and EVALUATION of existing and new environmental education/interpretive and recreational programs. Duties may include research and experience in particular subject matters. Program duties may include coordination of special events, and/or large group public programming.
