Grounds Maintenance
Description:
- Care and maintenance of park grounds and trails
- Use of landscaping tools, including push mowers, riding mowers, weed-eaters
- Fence and sign installation
- Minor building maintenance, including janitorial and painting.
Closing Date: When filled
Preferred Qualification:
Experience using hand mowers,
weed-eaters and riding mowers.
Requirements:
Must be over 17 years of age,
possess a social security
card
and valid drivers license.
Salary:
$7.50 an hour
Hours:
37.5 hours per week,
7a.m. until 3 p.m.,
weekends and holidays required
Benefits:
This is a seasonal position with no
standard benefits. Direct deposit
will be required as a condition of
employment for new employees.

Park Patrol Officer
Description:
- Assist State Park Rangers in daily operations
- Educate the public regarding rules and regulations
- Prevent resource and criminal violations by patrolling and reporting, and traffic and crowd control
- Correct and/or report unsafe conditions
- Assist in emergency situations
- Maintain professional, courteous manner when dealing with the public
- May be assigned other duties to assist in park operations, as needed.
Requirements:
Must be over 20 years of age,
possess a valid drivers license with satisfactory driving history, and have no criminal record.
Salary:
$9.00 an hour
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have an interest in a park or wildlife enforcement career.
Hours:
Shift work hours vary, weekends and holidays required.
