What did children on Pea Patch Island do for fun? Bring your kids to this program so they can try their hand at some popular 19th-century games.

Pea Patch Scavenger Hunt-
Youngsters are given a list of questions and activities. To complete the hunt, they must visit nearly all of the restored areas and speak with a few of the characters.
Scavenger Hunt
This is a great way for children to get to know more about Fort Delaware.

School Marm School Days Our school marm, Miss Louisa Gibble, invites
children to get a glimpse of a typical day at school on the island and the strict discipline that was common to the time. There might even be a spelling bee!

Musketry Demonstration and Children’s Infantry Drill

Children's Drill
Soldiers at Fort Delaware practiced their drill for four hours every day. We won’t work that hard, and we’ll have a great deal more fun. Parents, bring the camera, because this is one you will want for the scrapbook!
