Pull up your boat -- or daydream about your new boat -- at Hammerheads Dockside. Overlooking the gorgeous Indian River Marina, Hammerheads Dockside is the perfect place to enjoy a sunset, a good meal, and a cold drink.
Hammerheads Dockside is a full-service restaurant offering a fresh, vibrant menu. Open daily at 8 A.M., we offer to-go breakfast sandwiches, fruit, and hot coffee roasted locally by Indian River Espresso and Coffee.
Our lunches and dinners consist of great seafood delivered fresh every day, homemade daily soups, huge wraps made in pitas specially baked just for us, and huge, green, leafy salads.
After a day on the water, come tell your fish tales and enjoy the best sunsets in Delaware, while also enjoying some of the freshest cocktails made by the best bartenders from Dewey Beach.

The Indian River Marina’s floating fuel dock is conveniently located just inside the mouth of the Marina’s basin (38.37 N Latitude / 75.04 W longitude).
The Marina carries the following fuel:
- 89 mid-grade gasoline
- Red dyed ultra low sulfur diesel
The marina honors the Boat US fuel discount of 10 cents per gallon with a valid Boat US card presented at the time of purchase. Courteous attendants are on duty to help with re-fueling.

New for 2014! Our store has been completely remodeled and now carries a new line of clothing, jewelry, and many other new items.
The Indian River Marina’s Boat Supply Store offers everything you need for your boating excursion in the back bays or the ocean, from boating safety supplies to maintenance and repair items.
The ship store is conveniently located adjacent to the boat ramps and the dry storage building.

The Indian River Marina offers newly renovated ramps which extend 75 feet and that can accommodate even the largest of trailered vessels.
The ramp also offers:
- Designated truck and trailer parking
- New courtesy dock for loading and unloading passengers and supplies
- 24-hour access to the Indian River and Rehoboth Bays, or the Atlantic Ocean
- Seasonal shuttle service from satellite trailer parking lots to the ramp during busy times to get you out on the water as quickly as possible (summer months only)
Boats that are not registered in the state of Delaware will be required to have the current Ramp Certificate required by the Division of Fish and Wildlife (outside link). There is no fee for boats registered in Delaware.
Dry Storage Facility and Boat Yard
The new dry storage building in the Indian River Marina keeps your boat high and dry out of the weather, avoiding the hassles of bottom painting and long ramp lines. The Dry Storage features:
- Open Daily, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- 156 indoor racks
- Accommodations for vessels up to 35'
- Indoor sprinkler system
- State-of-the-art security
The Boat Yard is equipped with two Marina Bull fork lifts and a 50-ton Wiggins Travel Lift for launching and retrieving vessels for service or storage. The services included in the Dry Rack Contract include one launch and retrieval per day along with a power wash to the bottom of the boat before it is returned to the rack or to an outside bunk for maintenance or up keep. The Indian River Marina’s new 274-slip floating dock system, which includes water, 30- or 50-amp service (dependent on slip size) and a dock box, all of which is included in the slip rental. The marina also provides dock carts to transport your boat supplies from your vehicle to your boat, and back. We offer 25-, 35-, 45- and 50-foot slips for the season, year-round, or a combination discounted contract which includes wet slip dockage for the season and a winter haul out and storage.
For the transient boater, we have slips for daily, weekly and monthly rental. Please contact the marina office for reservations.

Hook 'Em and Cook 'Em is your full-service bait and tackle shop conveniently located right at the marina. You will find everything you need for your fishing excursion. And, when you return, Hook 'Em and Cook 'Em can clean your catch for you.
