Pick-Up Volleyball League

Join us on Wednesday evenings for an impromptu volleyball game! People of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. Take advantage of yet one more way to get out and enjoy the weather and beautiful Bellevue State Park. There is no fee to play and pre-registration is not necessary. Meet at the volleyball court near Pavilion 3.

Picked up a few extra pounds over the summer, or just want to get outside and enjoy the fall weather? Start your week off right with our Monday morning walks. Walking two twenty-minute miles will burn off 154 calories! Well provide information and charts to track your progress. There is no cost or pre-registration necessary. Bellevue is a haven paved with paths and lots of areas to explore nature with your toddlers, and is perfect for strollers! This program, designed for children 12 months to 3 years, will introduce families to the wonders of nature. Fresh air, exercise, and social interaction are added benefits for parents and children alike. Meet at the childrens train. Beautiful Bellevue State Park is the backdrop for this team or individual event that features biking and running on paved and unpaved trails, team challenges, water features, crawls and much more. An Introduction to the Night Sky

Join members of the Delaware Astronomical Society for an evening of stargazing. Learn constellations and an introduction to observing the night sky. This program is designed for beginners through advanced stargazers, and is appropriate for all ages. There is no fee and pre-registration is not required. Equipment will be available, or you may bring your own binoculars or telescope. No white flashlights, please. Red-filtered lights only. Meet in the field behind the Arts Center.
