Access to Fort Delaware is by ferry.

Fort Delaware is currently closed for the season. The Fort will reopen for Civil War tours and programs in spring of 2012.

Three Forts Ferry

Fort Delaware is on Pea Patch Island, less than a mile from Delaware City, DE and Fort Mott, NJ. Access to the island is by ferry only. Private boats are not permitted to dock on the island.

Reserve tickets to visit the fort in advance. Call 1-877-98-PARKS to purchase tickets, or reserve securely online.
