Breanne started working for the Division in 1999 as a seasonal secretary for the then Cultural and Recreational Services Section (CARS). In 2005, she was hired on as a full-time contractual employee for CARS, assisting in the publications and exhibits area along with assisting the programming and interpretation aspect of the Division. In 2008, the CARS section disbanded and Breanne went to Killens Pond to manage the new Nature Center.
Breanne possesses an Associate of Arts in General Studies and will finish her Bachelors of Science degree in Wildlife Management from Delaware State University in December 2010. She is a Certified Interpretive Guide through the National Association of Interpretation and an American Red Cross Certified Canoe and Kayak Instructor. During her off-time, Breanne spends time with her son Colyn and her two Corgis, enjoys hiking, kayaking, birding and volunteers for the St. Jones Reserve doing horseshoe crab surveys and the Division of Fish and Wildlife for the Delaware Amphibian Monitoring Program (DAMP).
