Harvest Craft Workshop

Studies show children spend up to six hours a day plugged into electronics. The green hour was created to get kids outdoors and enjoying nature. Join us on the first Saturday of each month this winter for a green hour of hikes, scavenger hunts or other outdoor activities. Meet at the Nature Center. $2 per child
[top]Hike Around the Pond

Ever wanted to hike all the way around Lums Pond? Join us for this 7.5-mile hike. Bring water and a hearty snack as this hike will take several hours; midway through we will stop for a rest and a bathroom break at the campground. Meet at the Whale Wallow Nature Center at 9 a.m. Pre-register by calling (302) 368-6989 no later than December 11.

Join us for a night hike as we enjoy the park after hours. We will stroll by the light of the moon. Bring a travel mug with lid to enjoy some hot cider. Meets at Recreation Center just past Area 2. Ages 4 to 8
We have explored the park in the summer, now come out and enjoy a day of exploration in the winter. Enjoy crafts, games and hikes. Dress for the weather, and bring a snack, lunch and something to drink. $25 per child
