Spring Wagon Rides

- TIME: 5 p.m.
Fridays, March 2 to April 6
Meet at the campground pavilion for a tour of the park in our rustic hay wagon. Meet other park visitors as you travel the forests and fields. Sign up at camp store at least one hour before program. $4 adult, $2 child. Trip lasts about 1½ hours.
Saturday Evening Hayrides

Saturdays from April 14 to May 26
Ride to Cypress Point in our farm-wagon. Enjoy the woods and waters of Trap Pond in true farmer fashion (straw hats and coveralls are optional). Meet at the campground pavilion for a tour of the park in our rustic hay wagon. Meet other park visitors as you travel the forests and fields. Sign up at camp store at least one hour before program. $4 adult, $2 child.
Night Sounds Pontoon Tour

Thursdays from April 19 to May 31
Hear the sounds of the mysterious backwaters at night and learn about the spooky creatures of the cypress swamp during this 1½-hour tour. Call for reservations. $12 adults, $6 for 12 and under
Pontoon Boat Tours

- TIME: Fridays 5 p.m.; Weekends and Holidays 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Start April 13, 2011
Enjoy a one-hour boat tour of Trap Pond. Space is limited. Tours are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Meet at the Boathouse. $6 adults, $3 for 12 and under
James Branch Canoe Trip

- TIME: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This trip will last up to six hours and can be very strenuous; it is recommended for intermediate to experienced paddlers. $25 per person. Pre-registration is required; call (302) 875-5163.

Look for great blue herons, eagles and other wildlife as we paddle along the pond’s edge. $14 per person. Pre-registration is required; call (302) 875-5163. Basic canoe instruction will be provided.
