How to Register

To register, download a registration packet, or pick one up at the Seaside Nature Center, and complete the form. A fully-completed registration form and payment are required for each child.Registration is accepted in person, by mail or fax, or scanned by email. Paperwork will not be processed until full payment is received.

Be sure to indicate on each registration form the camp date, title, and fee.

Checks may be made  payable to C.H.S.P.

All registrations postmarked on or before March 1 will be given equal preference and will be processed randomly.Registrations postmarked after March 1 will be processed in the order submitted. 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing 30 days before the start of camp in order to receive a refund. Cancellations or rescheduling will be subject to a $30 administrative fee. There will be no refunds or rescheduling within 30 days of the start of camp.

Creeping Crawling Critters

Session:
Wednesday, June 12, 2013 to Friday, June 14, 2013
Camp Day: 9 a.m. - Noon
Ages: 5 to 6
Cost: $60 per camper

About the Program: Some creep, some crawl, some climb, some jump, some fly. Play games and explore the different ways that animals move and live. Campers must have completed Kindergarten.

Camp Day: 9 a.m. – Noon
Ages: 5 to 6
Cost: $100 per camper

About the Program: Explore the park and find animals hidden in nature. Discover which animals blend in the best and learn some camouflage tricks yourself. Campers must have completed Kindergarten.

Monday, June 17, 2013 to Friday, June 21, 2013
Camp Day: 1 – 4 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 6
Cost: $100 per camper

Who’s Eating What? -- FULL!

Monday, June 24, 2013 to Friday, June 28, 2013
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 7 to 8
Cost: $185 per camper

About the Program: Almost every animal and plant can serve as lunch for something else. Join us as we play games and check out how the food web connects life in the park.


Growing Up in Nature

Session:
Monday, July 01, 2013 to Wednesday, July 03, 2013
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – Noon
Ages: 5 to 6
Cost: $60 per camper

About the Program: It takes plenty of food, water and luck to grow up in nature. Learn how plants and animals find everything they need to grow at Cape Henlopen. Campers must have completed Kindergarten.


Mission: Fort Miles

Session:
Monday, July 08, 2013 to Friday, July 12, 2013
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 10 to 12
Cost: $225 per camper

About the Program: Develop the skills needed to help you rescue the “The Supreme Allied Commander.” Break codes, use a compass and conceal yourself in nature as you build up to the final rescue mission.


Fun in the Sun -- FULL!

Session:
Monday, July 15, 2013 to Friday, July 19, 2013
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 7 to 8
Cost: $185 per camper

About the Program: Plants and animals would be in the dark without the sun and all washed up without the moon. Find out just how much pull the sun and moon have on the environment.


Operation Animal Search

Session:
Monday, July 22, 2013 to Friday, July 26, 2013
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 9 to 10
Cost: $200 per camper

About the Program: Gather clues using environmental science and search for evidence of where animals have been and what they are doing in the park.

About the Program: Team up with fellow campers and find out how nature plays team games. Master team-building challenges while learning how plants and animals do the same.


Cape Crusaders

Session:
Monday, August 12, 2013 to Friday, August 16, 2013
Camp Day: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Ages: 9 to 10
Cost: $200 per camper

About the Program: Venture where hunters, pirates and warriors once traveled. Search for wildlife, hunt for treasure, challenge yourself and make your own history by burying a time capsule.


Aquatic Adventures -- FULL!

About the Program: Animals, plants and you need water to survive. Get wet and find out how we use water. Campers must have completed Kindergarten.
