How to Register

To register, download a registration packet, or pick one up at the Seaside Nature Center, and complete the form. A fully-completed registration form and payment are required for each child.Registration is accepted in person, by mail or fax, or scanned by email. Paperwork will not be processed until full payment is received.

Be sure to indicate on each registration form the camp date, title, and fee.

Checks may be made  payable to C.H.S.P.

All registrations postmarked on or before March 1 will be given equal preference and will be processed randomly.Registrations postmarked after March 1 will be processed in the order submitted. 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing 30 days before the start of camp in order to receive a refund. Cancellations or rescheduling will be subject to a $30 administrative fee. There will be no refunds or rescheduling within 30 days of the start of camp.

Session:
Monday, June 16, 2014 to Friday, June 20, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – Noon and 1 – 4 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 6
Cost: $100 per camper

About the Program: Must have completed kindergarten
Discover why different animals make Cape Henlopen their home and find out how we can make it happy and healthy for all of us.


Living in Your “Nature”-Hood

Session:
Monday, June 23, 2014 to Friday, June 27, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 7 to 8
Cost: $185 per camper

About the Program: Do you know your nature neighbors in the Park? Explore Cape Henlopen and find out what animals share our “nature”-hood.


Fishy, Furry, Feathered Families

Session:
Monday, June 30, 2014 to Thursday, July 03, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – Noon
Ages: 5 to 6
Cost: $80 per camper

About the Program: Must have completed kindergarten
Schools, herds, pods and packs: families are just as important in nature as they are to you. Get to know some nature families in the park.


Operation Fort Miles

Session:
Monday, July 07, 2014 to Friday, July 11, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 10 to 12
Cost: $225 per camper

About the Program: Develop skills to help you rescue “The Supreme Allied Commander.” Break codes, use a compass and conceal yourself in nature as you train for the “final rescue mission.”


Animal Boogie at the Beach

Session:
Monday, July 14, 2014 to Friday, July 18, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 7 to 8
Cost: $185 per camper

About the Program: Nature never sits still, and neither should you! Play games and do hands-on activities to imitate all the ways animals keep on moving.


Cape Challenge

Session:
Monday, July 21, 2014 to Friday, July 25, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 9 to 11
Cost: $200 per camper

About the Program: Are you up to the challenge? With teamwork and hustle you can conquer some of the challenges of living in the wild side of the park.


Stand Up for Nature

Session:
Monday, July 28, 2014 to Friday, August 01, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 7 to 8
Cost: $185 per camper

About the Program: Nature is important to all of us. Get up, get out and explore the park to find ways you can help keep Cape Henlopen natural.


Cape Crusaders

Session:
Monday, August 04, 2014 to Friday, August 08, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $200 per camper

About the Program: Venture where hunters, pirates and warriors traveled during this week of searching for wildlife, hunting for treasure and making your own history by burying a time capsule.


Wild Side of Friendship

Session:
Monday, August 11, 2014 to Friday, August 15, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 7 to 8
Cost: $185 per camper

About the Program: Everyone needs friends. Discover how wildlife helps each other as we investigate nature and take part in team-building games and activities.


Messy, Mouthwatering, Mysterious Animal Meals

Camp Day: 9 a.m. – Noon and 1 – 4 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 6
Cost: $100 per camper
