How to Register

To register, download a registration packet and complete the form. Registration is accepted in person, by mail or fax, or scanned by email. Paperwork will not be processed until full payment is received.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing 30 days before the start of camp in order to receive a refund. Cancellations or rescheduling will be subject to a $30 administrative fee.

Bug N’ Out

Session:
Monday, June 27, 2016 to Friday, July 01, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 8
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Red velvet ants, praying mantis, and Hercules beetles are only some of the small wonders you will find! Discover cool adaptations in the largest taxonomical class around. Sweep-net and dip-net for critters and see some special collections.


Adventure Rangers

Session:
Monday, June 27, 2016 to Friday, July 01, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $225 per camper

About the Program: Take a look behind the scenes with a park ranger, kayak the pond in search of wildlife, ride in an official ranger boat, and meet some mounted police. Campers will learn about different adventures you can have and conservation techniques used in the parks.


Pondside Adventure

Session:
Tuesday, July 05, 2016 to Friday, July 08, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 – 11:30 p.m.
Ages: 4 to 6
Cost: $100 per camper

About the Program: Dip-net in the pond in search of critters, investigate insects with magnifying glasses and teach Mom and Dad all about the fascinating animals that live at the pond.


Ultimate Games

Session:
Tuesday, July 05, 2016 to Friday, July 08, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Campers from Brandywine Creek and White Clay Creek State Parks will travel to Lums Pond for friendly cross-camp competition.


Treasure Quests

Session:
Monday, July 11, 2016 to Friday, July 15, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 7
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Find treasure, go on nature quests and have loads of fun!


Pirates of the Pond

Session:
Monday, July 11, 2016 to Friday, July 15, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 8
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: A week of daring pirate fun paddle-boating the pond, hunting for hidden treasure and making pirate costumes and treasure boxes.


H2O Fanatics

Session:
Monday, July 18, 2016 to Friday, July 22, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 11 to 14
Cost: $275 per camper

About the Program: Kayak Lums Pond, tube the Brandywine, swim at Killens Pond Water Park, enjoy an evening program and a beach day at Cape Henlopen. This camp includes an overnight stay. Approximate travel time to Brandywine Creek – 40 minutes; to Killens Pond – 90 minutes and from Killens Pond to Cape Henlopen – 45 minutes.


Nature Safari

Session:
Monday, July 18, 2016 to Friday, July 22, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Ages: 4 to 6
Cost: $100 per camper

About the Program: Wear safari hats and use nature nets to find animal tracks, catch critters and create exciting crafts.


Come to Your Senses

Session:
Monday, July 25, 2016 to Friday, July 29, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 7
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Campers will use all five senses to find what’s hidden in the park, using hidden clues and tasks leading to discoveries and friendships.


Painting by Nature

Session:
Monday, July 25, 2016 to Friday, July 29, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Enjoy a week of crafts exploring the colors of nature around the pond. Capture your favorite scenes with a paintbrush; learn techniques from a professional artist!


Animal Quest

Session:
Monday, August 01, 2016 to Friday, August 05, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Ages: 4 to 6
Cost: $100 per camper

About the Program: Discoveries and quests will fascinate the mind and body. Our imaginations will lead us on an incredible journey with the new friends we meet.


Jurassic Pond

Session:
Monday, August 01, 2016 to Friday, August 05, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $225 per camper

About the Program: Travel back millions of years to hunt for fossils, then on to the Delaware Museum of Natural History to learn about dinosaurs, and discover how animals live around the world. Fast forward to Auburn Heights and Fort Delaware to discover steam powered cars and life during the Civil War. Approximate travel time to Delaware Museum of Natural History – 40 minutes; to Auburn Heights – 45 minutes and to Fort Delaware – 20 minutes.


Camp Extreme FULL!

Session:
Monday, August 08, 2016 to Friday, August 12, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 11 to 14
Cost: $300 per camper

About the Program: Enjoy go-carting, navigating down Brandywine Creek, kayaking the pond, exploring trails on horseback, rock climbing and a trip to trampoline park. Approximate travel time to Brandywine Creek – 40 minutes; to Trampoline Park – 20 minutes; to Rock Climbing – 10 minutes and to Go-Karting – 40 minutes.


Wet N’ Wild

Session:
Monday, August 08, 2016 to Friday, August 12, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 8
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Hiking in search of animal evidence and netting for aquatic invertebrates, your days will be filled with water games and paddle boating.
