To register, download a registration packet and complete the form. Registration is accepted in person, by mail or fax, or scanned by email. Paperwork will not be processed until full payment is received.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing 30 days before the start of camp in order to receive a refund. Cancellations or rescheduling will be subject to a $30 administrative fee.

Full-Day Discovery Camp: Wild in the Park

Session:
Monday, June 15, 2015 to Friday, June 19, 2015
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 7
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Explore the outdoors, play nature games and make crafts in this animal-encounter. See creepy crawly bugs, have a visit from the Brandywine Zoo and see live owls and hawks as they fly overhead!


Full-Day Adventure Camp: Up Close and Wild

Session:
Monday, June 15, 2015 to Friday, June 19, 2015
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Wildlife encounters include a trip to Tri-State Bird Rescue and a visit from the Brandywine Zoo. For the grand finale: we get a visit from wild hawks and owls that fly overhead! Campers must be able to swim.


Full-Day Adventure Camp: Outdoor Survival

Session:
Monday, June 22, 2015 to Friday, June 26, 2015
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 11 to 14
Cost: $250 per camper

About the Program: Learn to survive in the wild by building shelters and campfires. Learn orienteering, first aid, backpacking, canoeing and fishing. Test your skills with a special overnight stay and a trip for some archery practice. Campers must be able to swim.


Half-Day Discovery Camp: Track N' Splash

Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Ages: 4 to 7
Cost: $100 per camper

About the Program: Ready to get outside and track wildlife? We explore habitats and search for critters every day.


Half-Day Discovery Camp: Naturalist Lunch Bunch

Camp Day: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Ages: 4 to 7
Cost: $30 per week per camper

About the Program: Available for Half-Day Discovery Camps participants. Pack a lunch and stay for a picnic, story and fun time. Pick up is at 12:30 p.m.


Full-Day Discovery Camp: Bug N' Out

Monday, June 29, 2015 to Friday, July 03, 2015
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 8
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Red velvet ants, praying mantis, Hercules beetles, oh my! Discover cool adaptations in the largest taxonomical class around. Sweep net and dip net for critters then see some special collections.


Full-Day Adventure Camp: Ultimate Games

Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Campers from Brandywine Creek and White Clay Creek State Parks will travel to Lums Pond for a friendly cross-camp competition. Campers must be able to swim.


Half-Day Discovery Camp: Pondside Adventure

Monday, July 06, 2015 to Friday, July 10, 2015
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Ages: 4 to 7
Cost: $100 per camper

About the Program: Scoop critters with nets; investigate insects with magnifying glasses, and teach mom and dad all about the fascinating animals that live at the pond!.


Full-Day Adventure Camp: Adventure Rangers

Session:
Monday, July 06, 2015 to Friday, July 10, 2015
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $225 per camper

About the Program: Take a look behind the scenes with a park ranger, kayak the pond in search of wildlife, ride in an official ranger boat, and meet some mounted police. Campers will learn about adventures and conservation in the parks. Campers must be able to swim.


Full-Day Adventure Camp: H2O Fanatics

Monday, July 13, 2015 to Friday, July 17, 2015
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 11 to 14
Cost: $275 per camper

About the Program: Kayak Lums Pond, tube the Brandywine, swim at Killens Pond Water Park, enjoy an evening program and a beach day at Cape Henlopen. ‘Nuf said,’ right? Campers must be able to swim. This camp includes an overnight stay.

About the Program: Shiver me timbers mates! Find treasure, go on nature quests and have loads of fun.


Half-Day Discovery Camp: Nature Safari

Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Ages: 4 to 7
Cost: $100 per camper

About the Program: Wear safari hats and use nature nets to find animal tracks, catch critters and create exciting crafts!


Full-Day Adventure Camp: Pirates of the Pond

Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 8
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Mateys, “argh” you ready for a week of daring pirate fun? This is one big adventure to search for treasure, make pirate costumes and treasure boxes, and go paddle boating on the pond. Campers must be able to swim.

About the Program: Campers will use their senses to find what’s hidden in the park using hidden clues and tasks – leading to discoveries and friendships.


Full-Day Adventure Camp: Myth Breakers

Ages: 7 to 9
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Do snakes dislocate their jaws to eat? Will toads give you warts? Let’s open our minds to possibilities and explore our surroundings in this new camp full of surprises and experiments. Campers must be able to swim.

About the Program: Enjoy go-carting, navigating down Brandywine Creek, kayaking the pond, exploring trails on horseback, rock climbing and a trip to a trampoline park. Campers must be able to swim.

About the Program: Between hikes to search for signs of animal and netting for aquatic invertebrates, we will enjoy water games and paddle boating.
