How to Register

To register, download a registration packet and complete the form. Registration is accepted in person, by mail or fax, or scanned by email. Paperwork will not be processed until full payment is received.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing 30 days before the start of camp in order to receive a refund. Cancellations or rescheduling will be subject to a $30 administrative fee. There will be no refunds or rescheduling within 30 days of the start of camp.

Fish, Fish, Fish

Session:
Monday, June 16, 2014 to Friday, June 20, 2014
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 7 to 9
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Spend a week learning fishy facts and the basics of fishing. We will also use nets and buckets to search for their aquatic neighbors.


Wild in the Park - FULL!

Monday, June 23, 2014 to Friday, June 27, 2014
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 7
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Campers will enjoy a visit from Brandywine Zoo staff, learn about animal rehabilitation and see live owls and hawks fly overhead!


Up Close and Wild - FULL!

Session:
Monday, June 23, 2014 to Friday, June 27, 2014
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: This week includes visits from the Brandywine Zoo and a trip to a local wildlife rehabilitator. As a grand finale, we get a visit from a special guest with wild hawks and owls that fly overhead.


Fish Frogs and Friends - FULL!

Session:
Monday, June 30, 2014 to Thursday, July 03, 2014
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 7
Cost: $175 per camper

About the Program: Make new friends as we discover fish, frogs, turtles and other critters around Lums Pond. This camp will be packed with games, crafts and lots of critter catching! We will end the week with a 4th of July celebration at our Nature Center as we explore a new part of the park.


Ultimate Games

Session:
Monday, June 30, 2014 to Thursday, July 03, 2014
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $175 per camper

About the Program: Put on your game face for a 4-day week of games, relays, and exploring the pond. We will finish the week by having Brandywine Creek and White Clay Creek camps come visit us for our friendly 4th annual camp competition!


Naturalist Lunch Bunch

Monday, July 07, 2014 to Friday, August 01, 2014
Camp Day: 11:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m.
Ages: 4 to 6
Cost: $30 per week per camper

About the Program: For half-day Discovery Campers only. Pack a lunch and stay an extra hour for a picnic, story and fun time. Pick-up is at 12:30.


Half-Day Discovery Camp: Treasure Quests

Ages: 4 to 6
Cost: $100 per camper

About the Program: Argh you ready mates? Find treasure, go on nature quests and have loads of fun during this adventurous week.


Pirates of the Pond

Ages: 6 to 8
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: This camp will be one big adventure as we search for treasure, make pirate costumes, treasure boxes and go on a paddle boating voyage upon the pond.


Half-Day Discovery Camp: Pondside Adventures - FULL!

Ages: 4 to 6
Cost: $100 per camper

About the Program: Scoop critters with nets, investigate insects with magnifying glasses, and teach mom and dad all about the fascinating animals that live at the pond!


Adventure Rangers - FULL!

Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Look behind the scenes with a park ranger, kayak the pond in search of wildlife, scout the dunes for fossils and take a special field trip during to Fort Delaware.


Half-Day Discovery Camp: Nature Safari

Camp Day: 8:30 11:30 a.m.
Ages: 4 to 6
Cost: $100 per camper

About the Program: With safari hats and nature nets, you will have fun finding animals tracks, catching critters and creating new and exciting crafts.


Camp Saw-What!

Session:
Monday, July 21, 2014 to Friday, July 25, 2014
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 8
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Each day we will record and identify the world around us so when we head home we can show off everything we saw. Play games, make crafts and paddle the pond.


Outdoor Survival

Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 11 to 14
Cost: $225 per camper

About the Program: Campers, want to learn about survival in the wild while building shelters and campfires? This popular camp includes orienteering, first aid, backpacking, canoeing and fishing! It also includes a special rock climbing field trip and a guest speaker from Ommelanden for some archery practice!
