How to Register

To register, download a registration packet and complete the form. Registration is accepted in person, by mail or fax, or scanned by email. Paperwork will not be processed until full payment is received.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing 30 days before the start of camp in order to receive a refund. Cancellations or rescheduling will be subject to a $30 administrative fee. There will be no refunds or rescheduling within 30 days of the start of camp.

Summer Celebration (mini-camp)

Session:
Wednesday, June 12, 2013 to Friday, June 14, 2013
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $125 per camper

About the Program: Start the summer with a BANG. This mini-camp will be packed with games, a hayride, boating on the pond, netting for insects, and a party to welcome the summer. Based at the Recreation Building (after Area 2). Campers must be able to swim.


Fish, Fish, Fish

Session:
Monday, June 17, 2013 to Friday, June 21, 2013
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 7 to 9
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Whether you are a beginner or an old pro, learn fishy facts and brush up on the basics of fishing, and search for aquatic neighbors that live alongside our fish. After all that fishing, enjoy a relaxing hayride. Based at the Recreation Building (after Area 2). Campers must be able to swim.


Track n’ Splash: Session 1

Monday, June 24, 2013 to Friday, June 28, 2013
Camp Day: 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Ages: 4 to 6
Cost: $95 per camper

About the Program: Get outside and track wildlife. Make discoveries every day as we explore habitats and search for critters.


“Toadally” Awesome

Session:
Monday, June 24, 2013 to Friday, June 28, 2013
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 8
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Look for toads, turtles and other wildlife. Campers will have a blast playing games, making nature crafts and using paddleboats. This camp is totally awesome! Based at the Recreation Building (after Area 2). Campers must be able to swim.


Fish, Frogs, and Friends (mini-camp)

Monday, July 01, 2013 to Wednesday, July 03, 2013
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 7
Cost: $125 per camper

About the Program: Make new friends and discover fish, frogs, turtles and other critters around Lums Pond. This mini-camp is full of games, crafts and critter catching.


Ultimate Games (mini-camp)

Session:
Monday, July 01, 2013 to Wednesday, July 03, 2013
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $125 per camper

About the Program: Enjoy fun activities outdoors and on the pond. Campers from Brandywine Creek and White Clay Creek parks will join us for a friendly cross-camp competition of games and relays. Based at the Recreation Building (after Area 2). Campers must be able to swim.


Treasure Quests -- FULL!

Monday, July 08, 2013 to Friday, July 12, 2013
Camp Day: 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Ages: 4 to 6
Cost: $95 per camper

About the Program: “Argh” you ready mates? Find treasures and go on nature quests during this adventurous week.


Pirates of the Pond

Session:
Monday, July 08, 2013 to Friday, July 12, 2013
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 8
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Mates, “argh” you ready for some pirate fun? Search for treasure, make pirate costumes and treasure boxes and take a paddle-boating voyage upon the pond. Based at the Recreation Building (after Area 2). Campers must be able to swim.


Pondside Adventures

Session:
Monday, July 15, 2013 to Friday, July 19, 2013
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 6
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Scoop critters with nets and investigate insects with magnifying glasses so you can teach mom and dad all about the fascinating animals that live at the pond.


Adventure Rangers -- FULL!

Session:
Monday, July 15, 2013 to Friday, July 19, 2013
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Go behind the scenes with a park ranger, search the pond for wildlife, scout the dunes for fossils and take a special field trip to Fort Delaware State Park. Based at the Recreation Building (after Area 2). Campers must be able to swim.


Outdoor Survival

Session:
Monday, July 22, 2013 to Friday, July 26, 2013
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 11 to 13
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Learn to survive in the wild, build shelters and campfires and enjoy orienteering, first aid, backpacking, canoeing, fishing and a special rock climbing field trip. Based at the Recreation Building (after Area 2). Campers must be able to swim.


Nature Safari

Session:
Monday, July 22, 2013 to Friday, July 26, 2013
Camp Day: 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Ages: 4 to 6
Cost: $95 per camper

About the Program: Wear a safari hat and use a nature net to find animal tracks, catch critters and create new crafts.


Wild in the Park

Session:
Monday, July 29, 2013 to Friday, August 02, 2013
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 6
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Wild about wildlife? Explore the outdoors, play nature games, create crafts and go wild on a hayride. Campers will see live owls and hawks up close.


Up-Close and Wild -- FULL!

Session:
Monday, July 29, 2013 to Friday, August 02, 2013
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 7 to 9
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Up-close wildlife encounters include visits to the Brandywine Zoo and a wildlife rehabilitator. A visit from a special guest with wild hawks and owls will finish out the week. Based at the Recreation Building (after Area 2). Campers must be able to swim.


Wild Water Fun

Session:
Monday, August 05, 2013 to Friday, August 09, 2013
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 11 to 13
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Cool off with kayaking, paddle boating, canoeing, games, relays and more. Finish the week with a field trip that includes tubing and an up-close encounter with tropical birds. Based at the Recreation Building (after Area 2). Campers must be able to swim.
