Payment & Cancellation Policy

Payment is due in full at time of registration for Zoo Camp.

A $25 fee will be charged for all cancellations up to April 30th.
Half refund for cancellations after May 1st; No refunds after June 1st.

Full Day Camps:
8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
(drop off from 8 to 8:30 a.m.)
After care is available Monday through Thursday only, from 4 to 5 p.m. for $60/week.

Mini Day Camps:
Campers must be potty-trained in order to attend. This means that campers must be able to use the restroom on their own.

Morning Session: 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
(drop off 8 to 8:30 a.m.)
Afternoon Session: 1 – 4 p.m.
(drop off 12:30 to 1 p.m.)
Aftercare is available from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday AND 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; no aftercare available from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Fridays for $60/week.

Between-session care is offered FREE from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. only to those that register for both morning and afternoon sessions of mini day camps!

Animal Babies

Session:

Cost: $130 per camper

Structures of Survival

Session:
Monday, June 27, 2016 to Friday, July 01, 2016
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 9
Cost: $225 per camper

Dog Days of Summer

Session:
Monday, July 04, 2016 to Friday, July 08, 2016
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 13
Cost: $225 per camper

About the Program: Members of the Delaware Zoological Society - $200.The dog days of summer can be “ruff,” so beat the heat learning about cool canines at the zoo. Campers will have a tail-wagging good time as we learn about responsible pet care and explore different canine groups of the domestic and exotic kind. Rainforest Rangers

Session:
Monday, July 11, 2016 to Saturday, July 16, 2016
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 9
Cost: $225 per camper

About the Program: Members of the Delaware Zoological Society - $200.Become a Rainforest Ranger and discover the diversity of animals unique to rainforests. Learn which animals call the rainforest their home and discover ways to save their shrinking habitat. Registration and information at brandywinezoo.org.


Jr. Zoo Keepers Basics

Session:
Monday, July 11, 2016 to Friday, July 15, 2016
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $325 per camper

About the Program: Members of the Delaware Zoological Society - $275.Join us for an exclusive peek at a day in the life of a zoo keeper. Campers will be able to see how some animals are cared for, visit some behind-the-scenes areas and learn what it takes to feed and maintain exhibits for more than 100 animals per day. Plus they will complete a week-long enrichment project. Please note campers will have limited contact with select animals. Registration and information at brandywinezoo.org.


Jr. Zoo Keepers Advanced (A)

Monday, July 18, 2016 to Friday, July 22, 2016
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 11 to 13
Cost: $325 per camper

About the Program: Members of the Delaware Zoological Society - $275.Have you always wanted to be a zoo keeper? If so, get ready for a fun-filled week discovering what it takes to work at the zoo through hands-on activities and projects. Campers will go behind-the-scenes, help prepare animal diets, clean an exhibit area, study animal behavior, create enrichment and much more. Exotic Animal Care

Session:
Monday, July 18, 2016 to Friday, July 22, 2016
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $225 per camper

About the Program: Members of the Delaware Zoological Society - $200.Attention all future keepers of the animal kingdom! Looking after an animal is a big responsibility and exotic animals can have some pretty wild requirements. Join us for a week-long discovery on which animals make better pets than others and how to best care for them. We’ll cover how we care for zoo animals, too. It’s Showtime!

Monday, July 25, 2016 to Friday, July 29, 2016
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 11 to 13
Cost: $325 per camper

About the Program: Members of the Delaware Zoological Society - $275.Ever wished you could perform your own animal show? Then, take center stage! Campers will learn from our experts about the basics of creating a live animal presentation for our zoo guests. During the week, campers will create and practice a live animal show that they will perform for the public at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Registration and information at brandywinezoo.org.

Animals at Play

Session:

Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 10
Cost: $225 per camper

About the Program: Members of the Delaware Zoological Society - $200.Children and animals are naturally playful, but play is serious business. During this game-filled week, campers will discover why play and cooperation are not only important for kids, but also necessary for animal survival.


Tales of Tails

Session:
Monday, August 15, 2016 to Friday, August 19, 2016

Ages: 5 to 10

Sensory Safari
