Registration begins February 6th,
9 am to Noon at the park office.

How to Register

To register, download a registration packet and complete the form. The registration form must be completely filled out and payment received to process for registration.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and/or requests to reschedule must be received 30 days before the start of camp and will be subject to a $30 administrative fee.  There will be no refunds or rescheduling within 30 days of the start of camp.

Nature Explorers

Session:
Monday, June 13, 2016 to Friday, June 17, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Ages: A5 to 7
Cost: $150 per camper

About the Program: Become a Nature Sleuth! Explore the forests, meadows and marshes here at the park! Discover a new animal and its habitat each day through fun activities like hikes, creek investigations, nature games, and crafts. No after care. Enjoy a campfire cookout on the last day of camp! We roast hotdogs and s’mores and enjoy lemonade to toast the end of a fun week of camp!


Outdoor Adventure Camp Session I

Session:
Monday, June 20, 2016 to Friday, June 24, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Ages: 11 to 14
Cost: $250 per camper

About the Program: Outdoor sports such as hiking, canoeing, and disc golf; survival skills like building shelters, orienteering, geocaching and rock climbing will be part of your camper’s adventurous week. Campers will also go fishing, tube the creek, and play games. Campers travel to other parks for some activities. Travel time will be between 10 minutes and one hour. Campers must be able to swim. Enjoy a campfire cookout on the last day of camp! We roast hotdogs and s’mores and enjoy lemonade to toast the end of a fun week of camp! No after care available.


Nature Wonders Session 1

Monday, June 20, 2016 to Friday, June 24, 2016
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – Noon
Ages: 4 to 6
Cost: $120 per camper

About the Program: Spend time outside splashing in the creek, hunting insects, exploring trails and looking for animal tracks. Learn about the marvels of nature by playing exciting games and making crafts to take home.


Nature Scientists

Session:
Monday, June 27, 2016 to Friday, July 01, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 9 to 12
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Nature is wacky and wonderful! Join us as we make things fly, ooze and light up, and drop things from the roof! Campers will perform fun, safe experiments to power a potato, build an egg parachute, build a kite, and make a film canister rocket, ice cream, rock candy and more! We will use our science skills as we explore hiking trails, tube the Brandywine, and stomp through the creek! Enjoy a campfire cookout on the last day of camp! We roast hotdogs and s’mores and enjoy lemonade to toast the end of a fun week of camp!


Ultimate Games

Session:
Tuesday, July 05, 2016 to Friday, July 08, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Put on your game face for a week of super exciting games, relays and exploration at the park! We will also go tubing on the creek, go geocaching, explore trails, and splash around on a creek hike. Travel to Lums Pond at the end of the week for a friendly cross-camp competition with Lums Pond and White Clay Creek State Parks to see which park is the Ultimate Games Champion (estimated travel time 50 minutes). Enjoy a campfire cookout on the last day of camp! We roast hotdogs and s’mores and enjoy lemonade to toast the end of a fun week of camp!

Junior Wild Rangers

Session:
Wednesday, July 13, 2016 to Sunday, July 17, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 9 to 12
Cost: $200 per camper

About the Program: Explore our special Flint Woods Preserve and learn all about the salamanders that live there, explore our Bluebird Trail learning about the animals of the meadow, even build and take home a bird box! Campers will learn survival skills like shelter building and tracking. Discover how flying things adapt, discover a world underground; learn about the animals under your feet, like our resident groundhog! Other outdoor activities include tubing the Brandywine, fishing and creek hikes. Enjoy a campfire cookout on the last day of camp! We roast hotdogs and s’mores and enjoy lemonade to toast the end of a fun week of camp!

Wilderness Survival

Session:
Monday, July 25, 2016 to Friday, July 29, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 7 to 10
Cost: $220 per camper

About the Program: Explore the outdoors and learn to live off the land! Along with learning Leave No Trace skills, campers will learn how to put up a tent, build a campfire, build a survival shelter, orienteering, fishing, river safety and more. Fun, safe experiences will teach campers how to be better prepared for outdoor adventures. Enjoy a campfire cookout on the last day of camp! We roast hotdogs and s’mores and enjoy lemonade to toast the end of a fun week of camp!


Water Adventures Session II

Wildlife Investigators

Session:
Monday, August 01, 2016 to Friday, August 05, 2016
Camp Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 7 to 9
Cost: $185 per camper

About the Program: Help investigate and unravel a park wildlife mystery with help from a real Park Ranger. Learn detective techniques to help solve a “crime” with tracking and fingerprinting. Explore insects, animals, trees and creek life through a variety of exciting eco-explorations including creeking and tubing. Enjoy a campfire cookout on the last day of camp! We roast hotdogs and s’mores and enjoy lemonade to toast the end of a fun week of camp!
