Registration begins February 3rd,
9 a.m. to Noon at the park office.
Register early at the Open House
on January 18, 5 – 7 p.m.

To register, download a registration packet and complete the form. The
registration form must be completed and payment received to process for
registration. Mail or walk-in registration is at the park office. Check, cash, Visa
and MasterCard accepted for payment. Payment may be made in person, by
mail or by telephone with credit card.

Before and After Care
Before care and after care are available for all full-day camps unless otherwise noted. Before care begins at 7:30 a.m. and after care runs through 5:30 p.m. The cost is $30 per week each or $60 for both. If you need care before 8:45 a.m., you must register for before care. Fees are charged for late pick-up.

Scholarships
A limited amount of scholarship funds are available for ful-day camps through a contribution from the Friends of Bellevue State Park. For information on how to apply, call (302) 761-6963.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and requests to reschedule must be received no fewer than 30 days before camp begins and will be subject to an administrative fee. There will be no refunds or rescheduling within 30 days of the start of camp.

Junior Fishing


For ages 7 to 10
June 11–15
9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Do you love to fish or want to learn how? Then this is a camp for you. Learn different types of fishing, fishing ethics, safety and techniques. We explore the world of fish by fishing, hiking and hands-on activities. Note: this is not a traveling camp.
Cost: $210

Amazing Animals Recreation Camp


For ages 7 to 11
June 11–15
9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Bellevue State Park is the place to be this summer! Activities include sports and games, nature exploration, arts and crafts, and a weekly field trip outside of the park all related to the weekly theme.
Cost: $185

Young Explorers: A Walk in the Woods


For ages 4 to 5
June 18–22
9 a.m.–noon
Each day, explore a nature topic through a hands-on hike and nature craft. Daily activities relate to the theme of the week and are documented on our “Look What We Did Today” wall for parents to see. Each week will be different, so sign up for one or all three!
Cost: $100 per week

Junior Naturalist


For ages 6 to 8
June 25–29
9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Explore a different nature theme each day through outdoor exploration, discussions and hands-on activities or crafts. Campers will use their experiences to create a nature journal for the week.

Wonders Recreation Camp

Ultimate Games Recreation Camp


For ages 7 to 11
July 2–3, 5–6
9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Bellevue State Park is the place to be this summer! Activities include sports and games, nature exploration, arts and crafts, and a weekly field trip outside of the park all related to the weekly theme. Ultimate Games camp. On Friday we will travel to Lums Pond State Park for a friendly competition with the camps from Lums Pond and White Clay Creek State Parks.
Cost: $150 (four-day camp)

Junior Fishing

Do you love to fish or want to learn how? Then this is a camp for you. Learn different types of fishing, fishing ethics, safety and techniques. We explore the world of fish by fishing, hiking and hands-on activities. Note: this is not a traveling camp.
Cost: $85 (two-day camp)

Fishing Camp - FULL


For ages 11 to 15
July 9–13
9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Campers travel to different fishing sites each day including an offshore charter boat trip and a canoe trip on the Brandywine. Participants will learn about fresh and saltwater fishing, fly fishing, fishing ethics, safety and techniques. This camp is appropriate for all skill levels. Campers may bring their own equipment; however, all necessary supplies are included. Trips involve travel to sites 15 minutes to 1.5 hours away.
Cost: $300

Young Explorers: Nature’s Rainbows


For ages 4 to 5
July 9–13
9 a.m.–noon
Each day, explore a nature topic through a hands-on hike and nature craft. Daily activities relate to the theme of the week and are documented on our “Look What We Did Today” wall for parents to see. Each week will be different, so sign up for one or all three!

Creepy Crawlies Recreation Camp

Bug Adventures


For ages 6 to 8

Are you buggy for insects? We will explore the world of insects with hikes, crafts, hands-on activities, discussions and more. By the end of this week you will definitely love bugs!

Naturalist Apprentice


For ages 10 to 13
July 23–27
9 a.m.–4 p.m.
This camp is for serious nature lovers. We will develop your naturalist skills and explore environmental stewardship principles. We will create and use field guides, journals, crafts and more!

Extreme Sports Camp with Overnight - FULL


For ages 12 to 15
July 30–August 3
9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Travel to different sites each day for exciting activities such as paintball, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, archery and more! Safety and team building are also important parts of this awesome camp. No experience is necessary. This week will include a Thursday night overnight program after our whitewater rafting adventure. Call for an updated list of activities for each week. Trips involve travel to sites 15 minutes to 1.5 hours away.

Dog Days of Summer Recreation Camp

Intro to Photography


For ages 7 to 10
August 6–10
9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Explore different photography techniques each day with hands-on applications. Parents will be invited to an art show on Friday afternoon highlighting campers’ work throughout the week. All supplies, including two disposable cameras and photo printing costs, are included in the camp fee.

Volunteerism Camp


For ages 12 to 15
August 13–17
9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Visit local sites throughout the week to participate in daily service projects and learn about each organization’s activities and volunteer opportunities. Service projects include packing food, a canoe clean-up, and gardening. This qualifies for hours of service needed for school. Trips involve travel to sites 15 to 45 minutes away.
Cost: $225
