About Cape Henlopen State Park Summer Camps


Mail-in registration begins March 1.
Walk-in registrations will be accepted March 15.

How to Register

To register, download a registration packet, or pick one up at the Seaside Nature Center, and complete the form. A fully-completed registration form and payment are required for each child.Registration is accepted in person, by mail or fax, or scanned by email. Paperwork will not be processed until full payment is received.

Be sure to indicate on each registration form the camp date, title, and fee.

Payment

Checks may be made  payable to C.H.S.P.

All registrations postmarked on or before March 1 will be given equal preference and will be processed randomly. Registrations postmarked after March 1 will be processed in the order submitted. 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing 30 days before the start of camp in order to receive a refund. Cancellations or rescheduling will be subject to a $30 administrative fee.

History Hikers

Session:
Monday, August 01, 2016 to Friday, August 05, 2016
Camp Day: 9 a.m. 4 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $200 per camper

About the Program: Trek back through time and learn some local history. From sunken ships to settlements, pirates to soldiers, theres plenty to learn in Lewes and Cape Henlopen State Park. Limit 12


Eco Explorers

Session:
Monday, August 08, 2016 to Friday, August 12, 2016
Camp Day: 9 a.m. 4 p.m.
Ages: 7 to 8
Cost: $185 per camper

About the Program: Explore the different ecosystems in the park. Learn which habitats some plants and animals like, and why others stay away. Limit 16


Children in Nature

Session:
Monday, August 15, 2016 to Friday, August 19, 2016
Camp Day: 9 a.m. - Noon
Ages: 5 to 6
Cost: $100 per camper

About the Program: Use all your senses and explore which plants and animals grow up in the park and how they survive. Limit 12. Campers must have completed Kindergarten.
