Camps run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Before care, from 8 to 9 a.m., and after care, from 4 to 5 p.m., are available for $40 per week, per child.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and requests to reschedule must be received no fewer than 30 days before camp begins and will be subject to an administrative fee. There will be no refunds or rescheduling within 30 days of the start of camp.

Trap Pond Trailblazers


For ages 12 to 15
June 25–29
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Camp at Trap Pond for a week and develop your own survival skills. This week, we will explore what Trap Pond has to offer: hiking, canoeing, fishing, and much more! This camp includes three overnight stays (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in our primitive camping area with planned night activities. Two day trips will be provided: fishing at Phillips Landing and a trip to Killens Pond Waterpark. Food and tents will be provided. Travel time to Phillips Landing: 15 minutes; to Killens Pond: 45 minutes.

Fishing Frenzy


For ages 7 to 12
July 9–13
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Enjoy fishing Trap Pond. Develop your knot- tying skills and make your own fishing lure. We will fish from the bank, docks, and our pontoon boat throughout the week. A fishing tournament will be held Friday to show off our new skills. Everyone’s a winner!

Travel Fishing


For ages 11 to 15
July 16–20
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This camp is for more skilled anglers. We will travel to new locations to fish for freshwater and saltwater species. Monday we will fish from Trap Pond and introduce you to our rules and regulations. Tuesday we will fish at Phillips Landing. Wednesday we will test our luck at Killens Pond to see what else we may find. Thursday we will take a trip to Cape Henlopen for some saltwater fishing. We will end the week fishing from the boat at Trap Pond. Travel time to Phillips Landing: 15 minutes; to Killens Pond: 45 minutes; to Cape Henlopen: one hour.

Extreme Sportsmen


For ages 12 to 15
July 23–27
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Take a walk on the wild side! Love outdoor sports like hunting and archery? We will spend this camp learning about hunter safety, archery, and boater safety. We will travel to Owens Station Hunter Education Center in Greenwood, Delaware to use live firearms as the last stage in our hunter safety education. This camp is for outdoor enthusiasts who want to learn more about the rules and regulations of ethical hunting; safety is our number one concern.

Crazy Critters


For ages 7 to 12
July 30–August 3
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Learn all about the different animals that live at Trap Pond. This week, we will discuss a different type of animal each day and enjoy crafts and games related to the animal of the day. We will also enjoy the pond from the pontoon boat and canoes. Discover the different animals as we get a little muddy seining and dip netting!

Extreme Sports


For ages 7 to 12
August 6–10
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Spend the week playing kickball, flag football, canoeing, hand ball, archery, and much more! We will play some team building games and review safety procedures. No experience is necessary.
