Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and requests to reschedule must be received no fewer than 30 days before camp begins and will be subject to an administrative fee. There will be no refunds or rescheduling within 30 days of the start of camp.

Our Day Camps

Caring for Critters: Pets and Wildlife Adventure Camp FULL


For ages 5 to 7
June 26 – 30
at the Nature Center

9 a.m. — 4 p.m.
Caring for animals can mean feeding or brushing your own pet or filling bird feeders and making habitat for wild animals. This camp will explore the differences between wild animals and pets and how we care for both. Lots of outdoor play near the creek, crafts and live animal guests will be a part of this camp. Before care is available to 9 a.m., Monday through Friday for an additional $35 per week or $10 per day.

Working With Animals Adventure Camp FULL


For ages 8 to 11
June 26 – 30
9 a.m. — 4 p.m.
Nature Center/Robinson. If you ever wondered what it’s like to work on a farm or be a veterinarian, this is the career camp for you! Explore ways people work with animals such as dogs, bats, goats and butterflies. This camp includes creek-time, games, field trips, and an up-close encounter with live birds.

Ultimate Games (Ultimate Three Day Camp) Adventure Camp


For ages 8 to 10
July 5 – 7
9 a.m. — 4 p.m.
Nature Center/Robinson. Put on your game face for this week of games, relays, team-building activities and exploring the creek. On Friday, we will travel to Lums Pond for a friendly competition with the camps from Lums Pond, Bellevue and Brandywine Creek State Parks. White Clay is the reigning Tri-Park Champion, join our winning team!

Knights, Gnomes and Fairies in the White Clay Kingdom FULL


For ages 6 to 8
July 10-14
9 a.m. — 4 p.m.
Explore the ‘kingdom’ of the White Clay Valley making gnome or fairy homes and castles from natural materials. Bring your imagination to life in this fun filled week of creek and forest exploration, games, crafts and more. Location: Nature Center

Adventure Rangers Adventure Camp FULL


For ages 9 to 12
July 10 – 14
9 a.m. — 4 p.m.
Nature Center/Robinson. Challenge yourself to tackle the tasks of a park ranger in this camp about adventures and conservation in the parks. Includes an exciting adventure on a rescue boat, kayaking at Lums Pond and learning how to track animals in the park. Must be able to swim.

Gnome Homes & Toad Abodes Mini-Camp


For ages 4 to 6
July 17-21
9 a.m. – Noon
Nature Center
Enjoy creative play making gnomes and their woodland homes. Camp includes lots of creek time, stories, crafts, outside play and a chance to build a home for toads. Before care is available to 9 a.m., Monday through Friday for an additional $35 per week or $10 per day.

Stream Explorers: Mines and Minerals Adventure Camp FULL


For ages 7 to 9
July 17 – 21
9 a.m. — 4 p.m.
Robinson/Nature Center. Are you familiar with things like obsidian and mycelium in the virtual world? How great would it be to see and touch the real thing in the natural world? Explore the “biomes” of the White Clay Creek and have hands-on fun constructing, experimenting, and playing with minerals, water and more.

Stream Splashers Mini-Camp


For ages 4 to 6
June 19-23
at the Nature Center

9 a.m. – Noon
There is nothing like a good splash in the creek this summer. Lots of water play, plenty of creek time and maybe puppet play, stories, crafts and outside play, all while making new friends. Before care is available to 9 a.m., Monday through Friday for an additional $35 per week or $10 per day.

Outdoor Adventure Skills Adventure Camp FULL


For ages 11 to 14
July 24 – 28
9 a.m. — 4 p.m.
Nature Center/Robinson Challenge yourself on land and water as we climb rocks at Alapocas Run, kayak at Lums Pond and mountain bike at White Clay Creek. We will finish the week with a bike ride to a cool spot in town. Camp- ers must bring a properly fitted CPSC-ap- proved helmets. Must be able to swim.

Stream Explorers: Pirates Treasures Adventure Camp FULL


For ages 6 to 8
July 24 – 28
at the Nature Center

9 a.m. — 4 p.m.
Argh you ready for a pirate week? Spend a week at the creek searching for treasure, panning for gems in the creek and meeting new friends, all while learning about the incredible treasures that make up our natural world.

Fantastic Frogs & Feathers Adventure Camp FULL


For ages 5 to 7
July 31 – August 4
9 a.m. — 4 p.m.
Nature Center. Campers get ready to search for frogs with nets, dig for treasure along the creek, learn about our feathered friends and make frog crafts in this one-of-a-kind camp. Campers will get to see a live bird show!

Camp Awesome! Adventure Camp FULL


For ages 8 to 10
July 31 – August 4
9 a.m. — 4 p.m.
Nature Center/Robinson. Try a little bit of everything in this fun-filled camp! Kids will go tubing, explore the woods, pan for creek gems, make nature gnomes, play games, go fishing, use their imaginations to create amazing art and see a live bird show. Must be able to swim.

Stream Explorers: Creek Creations Adventure Camp - FULL


For ages 6 to 8
August 7 – 11
9 a.m. — 4 p.m.
Nature Center. Sometimes things in nature are more beautiful than anything bought from a store. Use supplies from the natural world like clay, leaves and vines to make beautiful creations of all shapes and sizes. Of course we’ll also spend plenty of time playing and exploring the creek.

White Clay Creek (WCC) Survivor Adventure Camp FULL


For ages 9 to 13
August 7 – 11
9 a.m. — 4 p.m.
Robinson/Nature Center. Camp WCC Survivor combines the challenge of survival with the spirit of competition. Make your own raft, get first-hand experience in wilderness survival, boating, fishing, outdoor cooking and much more. Teamwork and Leadership are the key to surviving this week.

Wet and Wild in the Parks Adventure Camp FULL


For ages 8 to 11
August 14-18
9 a.m. — 4 p.m.
Nature Center/Robinson. Spend the week getting wet in the creek and the ponds nearby. Then we’ll go a little wild with tubing, exploring, games and kayaking. Must be able to swim and be ready for fun!

Counselor in Training (CIT): Opportunities for Teens


For ages 14 to older


Do you like working with younger kids and being outside in the summer? Do you need service hours for school or youth group? Be a CIT at White Clay Creek State Park Summer Camps. You must be at least 14 years old and be available to attend our orientation. There is a $35 registration fee that includes a t-shirt.
