The Warrington House
Trap Pond State Park
Current Condition
Warrington House is a two-and-a-half story, five-bay, Italianate-style framed building with a rear ell. It is now covered with asbestos siding that has been painted barn red, but the original clapboards are visible where the asbestos shingles have been damaged. The porch needs repairs. The roof and the back door need to be replaced. Structurally the building is in decent shape. It does needs sewer and water connected and electrical wiring replaced. The original ceiling is covered by a later drop ceiling that will need to be removed.
The Warrington House has a number of dilapidated agricultural outbuildings surrounding it – a barn, garage, chicken house, etc.
