Delaware State Park Ranger Explorer Posts

Back to Main Scouting Page

Two Delaware State Park Explorer Posts, one at Lums Pond State Park and the other at Cape Henlopen State Park, are designed to give young people an opportunity to gain fist-hand knowledge of park law enforcement and environmental law enforcement. This is accomplished through tours, programs, and ride-along programs. The posts also hold social events, including canoe trips, pizza nights and barbecues.

The posts are open to all young people between the ages of 14 and 20.
If you are 14, you must have already completed the 8th grade.
