Delaware State Parks Trail Challenge Prizes
Delaware State Parks and Nemours Health & Prevention Services have teamed up to support Nemours 5-2-1, Almost None to fight childhood obesity. And everyone who completes the Trail Challenge gets a certificate, an award, a Nemours pedometer and a chance to win one of these great prizes! In 2009, we gave away vacations at state parks in Louisiana, Maryland and Delaware -- watch this space for info on the great prizes we'll be giving away for our 2010 challenge!
The Delaware State Parks Trail Challenge includes 15 trails in state park locations throughout Delaware. Hikers completing 5 trails will be awarded the Explorer Award and earn one entry in the prize drawing. Hikers completing 10 trails earn an Advanced Hiker Award and two entries in the prize drawing, and hikers completing all 15 trails earn the Expert Hiker Award and three entries in the drawing. Hikers should be sure to note the symbol or icon at the bottom of markers along the trail. When the trail is finished, the symbol name gets filled in on the registration form.

Mail-in registrations must be postmarked no later than December 31, 2010 to qualify for prize drawing.
